Lochmere is an upscale Golf Estate in Cary NC.

This green and leafy estate is an easy commute to downtown Raleigh, within a few miles drive of the Research Triangle Park and a 20 minute car ride to Raleigh Durham international airport. Its central location and upscale environment, make Lochmere a wonderful place to live.

There are 3 lakes at Lochmere. The Lochmere lake is the biggest and then the two smaller ones, Lake Lomond and Highlands Lake which is part of Highlands neighborhood. Although the Lakes are not allowed to be used for swimming, that rule does not apply to our feathered friends and you will see some incredible birdlife including ducks, geese and swans. Boats are allowed to be used on the lake with correct permission and permitting.

There are great walking trails around Lake Lomond and throughout Lochmere Estate. Its a beautiful green and wooded environment to explore. You will find playgrounds, benches, gazebos, bridges and a  frisbee course. What more could you need on your walk?

Lochmere Estate has two swimming pools for the residents. In the summer months, the neighborhood pool offers water aerobics as an option to keep fit! Swimming lessons are offered by a reputable swim school. 

There are two well lit and beautifully maintained tennis areas. Lochwood has 8 tennis courts and a covered stand for spectators while Highlands has two tennis courts. All residents are welcome to join the league, play for pleasure or join a tennis lesson. There are summer camp opportunities for kids of all ages.

There is a whole lot of other activities offered at Lochmere including Yoga, Tai Chi, Volley ball and book clubs, garden clubs and even groups for young families. Lochmere is a wonderful place to live.

Lochmere Golf Club is a semi private golf club. The course is great for all levels of players. With treelined fairways intertwined with water areas even the most experienced levels can enjoy the game.
