Holly Springs NC started off as a "watering hole" where travelers could stop and drink of the fresh water to quench their thirst. This does not continue today, however Holly Springs is a great place to live offering an incredible lifestyle.
Bass Lake Park and Retreat Holly Springs, is an extensive Lake spread over 100 acres. One can hire canoes or jon boats and enjoy all the lake has to offer. The Lake is stocked with fish for those who love to fish. There is an education center, conference facilities with a theatre, a viewing deck, floating dock and a free bank fishing area for fishing enthusiasts. The area boasts a hiking trail and a wildlife observation platform, which is not to be missed.
Holly Springs has a great tropical climate. The winters have maybe 2 or 3 snow days a year, just enough to play in without the inconveniences!
